The House will meet this morning (10 a.m.) with first votes scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and last votes expected for 4:30 p.m.
The Senate will meet this afternoon (3 p.m.) and will vote to limit debate on the nomination of George Alexakis to be US District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois. (5:30 p.m.)
A House Foreign Affairs subcommittee will host a bipartisan roundtable with family members of American citizens detained and held hostage abroad. (10 a.m.)
Veterans’ Affairs Ranking Member Mark Takano and others will hold a press conference on ending veteran homelessness this afternoon. (1 p.m.)
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and House committee chairs will hold a press conference on antisemitism on college campuses this afternoon. (2:15 p.m.)
Sen. Laphonza Butler will hold a press conference on the High School Voter Empowerment Act this afternoon. (4 p.m.)
President Joe Biden this morning will receive his daily intelligence briefing (10 a.m.) before leaving the White House (1:25 p.m.) to travel to Wilmington, Delaware (arrival 2:20 p.m.) and participate in a campaign event (3 p.m.) before returning to the White House (7:20 p.m.).
Vice President Kamala Harris will hold internal meetings with staff this morning and record radio interviews for The Big Tigger Morning Show and DeDe in the Morning later today.
